The acid and alkali resistance, low abrasion and non-combustibility of PTFE fiber make it suitable for protective clothing in the chemical industry. The ion exchange membrane made of PTFE long fiber and composite sulfonic acid resin is an indispensable key component of chlor-alkali engineering. Ion exchange fibers made of PTFE grafted acrylic acid, sodium styrene sulfonate, etc., can be used for heavy metal recovery, catalyst support, etc.
