Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), also known as "Plastic King", is a high molecular polymer obtained by polymerizing tetrafluoroethylene as a monomer. Heat-resistant and cold-resistant, it can be used for a long time at -180~260ºC. Acid and alkali resistant, almost insoluble in all solvents.
PTFE Membrane has many excellent characteristics: flexible design, various light transmittances, light weight, high strength, energy saving, waterproof surface, not easy to be oxidized, the advantages of PTFE membrane are unmatched by other materials and glass.
Light weight: It is a small part of traditional building materials, and the weight of one square does not exceed 1.5kgs.
High strength: The PTFE membrane materials used in general stadiums are all based on extremely fine glass fiber fabrics, and the tensile strength can reach more than 7000 N/5cm, which can meet the stress requirements of large-span spaces. Even stronger than steel wires of the same diameter;
Softness: can be stretched into various dynamic arc shapes;
Light transmittance: the incident light during the day becomes natural warm light without shadows, the reflectivity to solar energy is 73%, and the heat absorption is small;
High self-cleaning: it hardly sticks to any dust, and solid materials cannot adhere to its surface, and the dust can be washed away by natural rainfall without special cleaning;
High chemical stability: can withstand higher than 300 ℃ sodium hydroxide also contains strong acid (aqua regia, strong oxidant, reducing agent and various organic solvents), the harsh environment does not work on the surface of the fabric;
Long service life: can be used for at least 25 years.
